GoSwift: Geometry Optimization and Sensing with Integration and Flight Test

(July 2023 – present)

Under NASA Cooperative Agreement number 80NSSC23M0121, members from Texas A&M University, University of Michigan, Utah State University, Boeing Research and Technology, and NASA will explore the feasibility of a supersonic flight test demonstrating adaptive structures and LIDAR sensing. This overall research effort is in pursuit of quieter commercial supersonic aircraft (Thrust 2 of NASA Aeronautics’ Strategic Implementation Plan).
